El área de operaciones del Noroeste de México de la empresa TGNN de TransCanada busca un técnico mecánico para trabajar en la estación de compresión El Encino El Oro y sus alrededores.El candidato seleccionado trabajará en un equipo que opera y mantiene un sistema de gasoducto de alta presión, estación de compresión impulsada por turbina, equipos de medición de gas y otras instalaciones relacionadas; y está sujeto a condiciones peligrosas, incluyendo: escape de gas a alta presión, condiciones climáticas adversas, trabajo en las alturas, levantamiento de objetos pesados y condiciones de espacios muy limitados.Este puesto califica para trabajar horas extras y es posible que sean necesarias horas de trabajo prolongadas sin previo aviso incluyendo noches, fines de semana y días festivos.

Responsabilidades:


• Las actividades de trabajo pueden incluir, entre otras: Operación, mantenimiento y reparación del ducto, compresión, equipo de medición de proceso de gas, sistemas de control de turbinas, dispositivos terminales (presión, temperatura, vibración, detección de gas e incendios), válvulas y operadores, reguladores, válvulas de alivio, purga de descarga y presurización de ductos y estaciones, así como realizar localización de líneas en ductos de la empresa; todo dentro de procedimientos de operación de la empresa;


• Participar de manera activa en un ambiente de equipo al adquirir y aplicar las aptitudes necesarias, apoyar el desarrollo de los miembros del equipo, realizar tareas administrativas y ayudar con procesos de planificación, resolución de problemas, establecimiento de prioridades y toma de decisiones;


• Realizar de forma segura todas las actividades de trabajo, lo que incluye operar vehículos de la empresa;


• Analizar los informes de rendimiento de las turbinas, iniciar medidas correctivas para revisar y mejorar los procedimientos de mantenimiento;

Leer, interpretar y actualizar dibujos y esquemas (diagrama de tuberías e instrumentación [piping and instrumentation diagram, P&ID] y eléctricos);


• Utilizar de forma adecuada una variedad de herramientas manuales y eléctricas;


• Utilizar herramientas de diagnóstico como medidores de voltios-ohmios, monitores de vibración, boroscopios, etc.;


• Realizar funciones de alineación y medición de precisión;


• Utilizar computadoras y correo electrónico para la comunicación interna y externa, mantenimiento de registros, presentación de informes en línea, pedidos de materiales y suministros y archivado de diversos formularios;


• Utilizar computadoras para interactuar con varios PLC y controladores;


• Realizar otras tareas según el equipo las defina y mantener la limpieza general y la apariencia de las instalaciones del equipo asignado;


• Otras tareas según sean necesarias.

Requisitos

Habilidades:


• Experiencia con sistemas de controles de turbina e instrumentación incluyendo, entre otros: transmisores de presión, temperatura, flujo y vibración, detección de gas e incendios, equipo de regulación de la presión y operadores de válvulas;


• Capacidad para solucionar problemas, operar y mantener compresores de gas accionados por turbina, generadores de reserva, enfriadores de aceite, compresores de aire, ventiladores de enfriamiento y cajas de velocidad, válvulas y operadores y otros equipos auxiliares;


• El candidato debe mostrar un sentido de urgencia, responsabilidad individual y disponibilidad para aceptar prioridades que cambian constantemente;


• Debe estar cualificado o ser capaz de cualificar en las aptitudes individuales que el equipo le asigne / necesite dentro de plazos definidos y avanzar en ellas;


• Comunicación oral y escrita eficaz, así como aptitudes interpersonales para trabajar en un ambiente de equipo colaborativo que incluye; responsabilidades compartidas, establecimiento y mantenimiento de buenos vínculos laborales con

los demás para apoyar los objetivos del equipo y de la empresa, y disponibilidad para trabajar en todas las áreas, esto es, de controles, mecánica, ductos o medición según sea necesario para el equipo;


• Puede ser necesario viajar a otras ubicaciones de la empresa para tareas provisionales, reuniones y capacitación que involucren pernoctaciones fuera de casa;


• Sujeto a ser llamado a trabajar las 24 horas del día, los 7 días a la semana y días o semanas de trabajo extendidos para propósitos de respuesta a emergencias;


• Será necesario que lleve un teléfono celular y que trabaje con un horario de guardia rotativa;


• Debe tener una fuerte actitud de seguridad y ser responsable con el medio ambiente.

Educación:


• Diploma estudios de dos años que incluya cursos en la solución de problemas eléctricos y neumáticos. (Experiencia laboral equivalente puede ser considerada como alternativa al requisito de educación);


• Conocimiento de la utilización de equipos de pruebas electrónicas y eléctricas para solucionar problemas con los equipos asociados, como transmisores, interruptores y dispositivos terminales de presión y temperatura;


• Experiencia relevante en la industria petrolera y de gas es deseable;


• Ser bilingüe en inglés y español sería una ventaja;


• La experiencia industrial en ambiente de planta sería una ventaja;


• También será de beneficio conocer los requisitos de programas de seguridad.
