Role Summary

Coordinar el lanzamiento de nuevos programas en la División para que se lleven a cabo de manera efectiva, cumpliendo con los requerimientos de tiempo, calidad y costo definido por los clientes y por Magna Mirrors North America

Key Responsibilities
  • Proveer liderazgo técnico para coordinar los esfuerzos del equipo multidisciplinario, el cual incluye personal del área comercial, ingeniería de producto, calidad, compras y manufactura, y asegurar el uso eficiente de recursos humanos.
  • Negocia y facilitar la resolución de conflictos entre las partes interesadas (División, clientes, proveedores, oficina corporativa).
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de objetivos y entregables de los programas, así como establecer un método para monitorear de manera periódica el avance de los mismos (milestone reviews, launch readiness reviews).
  • Mantener una comunicación efectiva con los clientes para asegurar que sus requerimientos han sido entendidos por el equipo multidisciplinario que participa en el lanzamiento del programa.
  • Administrar el presupuesto otorgado para los lanzamientos del programa, y asegurar que se cumplan los objetivos de costo definidos por la oficina corporativa.
  • Participar en proyectos de mejora continua e implementar iniciativas de mejora a los productos, procesos y programas.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • Asegurar que los requerimientos del programa de ergonomía de Magna se cumplan en la fase de diseño, lanzamiento y cambios de procesos.
  • Informar al responsable de seguridad de la división cada vez que haya nuevos programas y modificaciones en los mismos como: cambios en los equipos, proceso y/o materiales; y asegurar los ajustes necesarios cuando sean requeridos.
  • Considerar los aspectos ambientales derivados de nuevos procesos o cambios en los mismos y realizar los ajustes necesarios para minimizar su potencial impacto.
Additional Information
  • Carrera profesional concluida en el área de ingeniería.
  • Maestría en administración de negocios (deseable).
  • Experiencia mínima de 8 años en puestos similares en la industria automotriz.
