Aon are currently recruiting a Claims Technician, to join our team in Reinsurance México.

What the day will look like

  • Work under the direction of various Claim Advocates, together servicing claims for your assigned clients.
  • Determine, and search for, the coverage that "responds" to new claims
  • Input coverage to system as needed to process claims
  • Be cognizant of coverage triggers and contractual terms that affect claims
  • Process claim development and correspondence on assigned clients in accordance with procedures and quality standards
  • Check claim output for accuracy, coherence, and professionalism
  • Use LMI (London Market Interface) for claim reporting to participating UK reinsurers
  • Maintain claim files, dropfiling material as needed for complete files
  • Consult with Claim Advocates about coverage discrepancies, claim issues, client/reinsurer problems, etc.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • College degree in Accounting, Actuary, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration
  • Bilingual in verbal and written English and Spanish.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Analytical and strong in math.
