Responsibilities and Duties:

• Draft and coordinate staffing of Joint Fires documentation informed by data collected from experimentation and exercises. This documentation will include regular reports on the progress of the project, tactics, techniques, and procedures, concepts of operation, and concepts of employment.
• Provide onsite recommendations for DMAP modifications during experiments, demonstrations, and exercise events due to unanticipated changes in the environment of resources available.
• Coordinate utilization of resources for experimentation, demonstration, and exercise events, including range utilization requirements and logistics.
• Contribute operational expertise to test design using designofexperiment approach.

• Position Demands Interaction with Technical Experts as well as Government and Military Personnel
• Experience in Joint operations and operational or strategiclevel SOF planning and operations.
• Experience working in or with multiple services and a relevant certification or qualification associated with the command and control of Joint Fires (e.g., Joint Tactical Air Controller, Targeter, Joint Fires Element Plans, Operations, or Targeting).
• Experience in Drafting Concepts of Operation, Concepts of Employment, or Tactics, Techniques and Procedures Documents
• Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree Preferred) in a Relevant Discipline (Technical or Non-Technical)
• 15 Years' Experience in Joint Fires at the Operational or Strategic Level May be substituted for the education requirement.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10 years active military experience in Service Fires and Joint Fires.
• 5 Years' Experience in the Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX) and Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)
• 5 Years' Experience interfacing with senior staff (O5/O6 and GOFO) in a component, combatant command, Service, or interagency organization.
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills including the ability to draft and coordinate the review of complex operational and strategic documents; and to develop briefing material appropriate to a senior government or military staff.
• U.S. Citizen
• Eligible for a TS/SCI Security Clearance (In-Status Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Physically Able to Travel up to 20% of Workdays
