JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for a highly experienced Design & Release Lead (Chassis & Suspension) to join our team
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers in the design, release, and development of chassis and suspension systems for our vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring all components meet strict quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and release of chassis and suspension systems
- Manage and mentor a team of design engineers
- Conduct Design Reviews (FMEA, DVP&R) and implement DFSS methodologies
- Oversee change management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Ensure all designs meet quality and performance targets
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Automobile, etc.) from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent)
- 20+ years of experience in Chassis Engineering at an automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, or similar role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with FMEA, DVP&R, DFSS, and change management
- Working knowledge of NX (STLA CAD) and Teamcenter (STLA PDM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven supervisory experience
- Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
