If you are a Systems Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an opening for you As an Advanced Manufacturing MFG Systems Engineer, you create and help advance our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) projects. Based in Reynosa Mx or Saltillo Mx., you will work with our Compressor and Motor assembly operations. You will be a team member in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team, primarily passionate about rolling out new Manufacturing Systems by mining data, process data aggregation, and improving and adjusting PLC signaling. This work will support a global Advanced Manufacturing effort. In this position, you will work closely with the digital operations team and align with their needs for continuous improvement of process data and analysis from our Manufacturing Processes.

As An Advanced Manufacturing MFG Systems Engineer, You Will:

Improve the manufacturing processes data to drive decisions on how existing and future MFG processes can be crafted or changed to support efficient output. Assist with the setup of new process data systems applying MSSQL, MTConnect, OPC, MQTT, and other protocols for collecting device-level process signaling. Build Process Data reports using Ignition, Power BI, RS Links, and Traksys Collaborate with Digital Operations teams and other engineering subject areas. Assist with supporting and rolling new and existing infrastructure and security systems used in the MFG network. Use critical problem-solving techniques to develop solutions to manufacturing issues. Comply with all required safety and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Ability to simultaneously drive / execute multiple software systems projects and support production needs. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot sophisticated issues Desire to apply and/or learn PLC programming & software systems knowledge. Ability to travel up to -% of the time including international travel Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs Must be proficient in English in both written and oral form Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields Zero to Five ( to ) years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience Experience with lean manufacturing principles Understanding of PLC programming & FANUC robot controls Experience with PLC programming SCADA/MES Systems Experience (Traksys/Ignition Desired) Spanish and English language proficiency
