We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a
Windows Server Administrator**.


What you'll do:

Planning and Implementation:

  • Establish thresholds in relation to server availability and performance of system resources such as I/O, CPU, disk, and memory utilization.
  • Provide input to the tools team to capture, record and report exceptions in the events of the thresholds breaching the pre-defined limits.
  • Define notification and escalation process and procedures for handling such exceptions.
  • Manage general user administration tasks such as, granting, and revoking access, creating, assigning, and deleting home directories, triaging, and resolving authentication issues.
  • Access and manage hardware remotely via native tools wherever available for the servers.
  • Facilitate general file system administration tasks, creating storage volumes, assigning, and extending space on storage volumes, scheduling periodic backup, verification and restoring content as required.
  • Manage general administration tasks such as but not limited to, performance troubleshooting, setting up a backup and recovery regime, network configuration and connectivity.
  • Facilitate, support, and maintain internal and external facing DNS
  • Support Active Directory topology and replication management for subnet configuration, sites, site links
  • Configuration management for forest, domain and organizational unit design recommendations and implementation, time synchronization and global catalogue server management.
  • Security administration of domain admin accounts, delegate administrative rights for client support, exchange support and other functions, password policies, user rights, trust management, access control list (ACL) management, access control entry (ACE).

Preferred experience:

- +4 years of equivalent experience as Window Server Administrator

  • Experience with Window Server management and Server maintenance
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup and maintenance.
  • Deep knowledge of incident and request management
  • Deep knowledge of Windows troubleshooting
  • Intermediate advance English level
