Scope

Responsible for New Product Launches of Plastic Tubes that will be produced in Reynosa and in Washington for the West Coast Region.

Customer Service directly supporting the West Coast Region. Approximate 30% product portfolio renewal annually.

Management of projects with expected turnover higher than $8Mu, number of SKU's higher than 300, number of customers and contract fillers 75 or a combination thereof.


Main activities

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers addressing and resolving issues related to order dates and delivery for extruded tubes.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact in case the Key Account Manager is unavailable.
  • Proactively communicate project status and purchase order updates to customers. Promoting customer satisfaction & retention

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate and oversee the entire lifecycle of new product launches, from initial planning through execution.
  • Manage risks and issues throughout the project life cycle.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and other Albea departments in the manufacturing plants for extruded and laminate tubes (Supply Chain, Quality, Technical, and others as needed).
  • Establish and manage necessary meetings, documenting meeting minutes as needed.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal departments (supply chain, production, quality, etc.) to handle post sales support, and ensure ontime order fulfillment.
  • Monitor the performance of new product launches using designated KPIs. Mitigate client risk or disatisfaction
  • Manage the accuracy of associated documents (purchase orders, sample requests, customer specifications, SAP database, etc.).

Efficient Customer Onboarding:

  • Assist with new customer setup forms, ensuring timely completion by relevant departments. Assist wtih follow ups as needed.
  • Track and gather internal documentation, including paperwork related to updates and announcements (e.g., PCR letters, graphics manuals, VDCM).

Sales Support:

  • Partner with the sales team to identify product/specification selection opportunities based on client needs.
  • Other tasks such as material changes, force majeures, specification changes, changes that are required by the customer, or Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ's).
  • Provide pricing for samples.

Accountability including KPIs
Actively supports the Key Account Manager to understand customer needs and sales objectives, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and timelines

Guarantees succesfull launch of P0 and P0+ projects for assigned customer portfolio

KPI:
OTIF 1st delivery. EBB 1st delivery and launch. Samples OTIF

Guarantees timely and accurate communication between all departments involved in the NPL process Fluid internal workflow. Guarantees timely and accurate information is provided to the customer

Guarantees coordination of the artwork development from receipt of artwork from the customer to production

Profile (Experience & qualifications)
Experience with current Albea business processes and products strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Fluent english and spanish. Excellent communication skills in both languages.
Project management skills and experience in working for a high volume manufacturing industry. Supply chain experience is a plus.
Mastery of project management tools.
Problem solving and mulstitasking, Planning and strategic thinking, Execution, Business acumen, Detailed oriented, Dependable.
