If you are not deeply experienced with n8n and AI agents, this role is not for you.This Role Is NOTA beginner or intermediate n8n userSomeone who “played with n8n”A generic automation engineerA prompt-only or no-code-only roleIf you need tutorials to build workflows, stop here.Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)Deep, hands-on experience with n8n (production usage)Strong experience building AI agent workflowsExperience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)Strong understanding of API integrationsExperience handling:retrieserror handlingfallbacksrate limitsKnowledge of stateful vs stateless workflowsExperience designing maintainable, modular automation logicComfortable working with complex branching logic and conditional flowsFamiliar with frequent n8n updates and changesResponsibilitiesDesign and implement AI agent workflows in n8nDecide which models to use and whenBuild robust automation logic (not fragile demos)Integrate APIs, internal services, and data sourcesEnsure workflows are debuggable, observable, and stableWork closely with product logic and AI requirementsOptimize performance and cost where relevantMindset RequiredThinks in systems, not single workflowsObsessive about reliabilityUnderstands that broken automations = broken businessMoves fast without creating fragile flows
