They offer a monthly subscription model covering bookkeeping, business tax, and personal tax services, allowing them to support clients year-round. They are proud to be ranked in the top 10% of accounting firms nationwide on Clutch.They are looking for a highly-skilled and reliable Tax Associate to work alongside their tax managers.Responsibilities:Track tax preparation statuses - reviewing client questionnaires, gathering tax documents, reminding clients which tax documents are missingPrepare tax returns in UltraTaxTax planning support - review what quarterly tax estimates have been sent to the client and paidCommunicate with clients via email and textReview monthly financials Supporting US tax managersRequirements2+ years experience in US Taxes2+ years experience using UltraTaxExperience in Quickbooks OnlineTech savvy - able to navigate Zoom, Slack, etc and learn new software quicklyAbility to manage deadlines across multiple clients with an awareness of what needs to be prioritizedExceptional organization skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills with both clients and team members across digital channels and an innate desire to build relationshipsHumility and openness to coaching and critiques; always seeking to improvePersistence and an ability to stay on trackBookkeeping skills, general knowledge of payroll and accounting principlesAccounting degreeBenefitsFlexible schedule (40 hours per week (typically 8:30-4:30 ET but schedule is flexible)10 days PTO and all US federal holidays offContinuing education and computer coveredLaptop and dual monitor paid forClient Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you. Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
