In the IT Operations department of Beiersdorf, we oversee IT infrastructure services globally for the entire Beiersdorf Group, with over 20,000 employees worldwide. Our main focus is ensuring seamless IT operations through effective automation. Within the department, our SAP Basis Team handles SAP Systems for our global business, working closely with Infrastructure and Application Teams.

Your Tasks
  • Ensure stable, secure, and high-performance system operation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot occurring problems
  • Take on 2nd level support as part of SAP Basis support
  • Implement change requests and optimize systems
  • Carry out SAP Basis activities like system creation and provisioning
  • Install and upgrade SAP components and databases
  • Participate in SAP innovation, rollout, or upgrade projects
  • Manage SAP front end provision and lifecycle maintenance
  • Develop SAP Basis solutions focusing on automation
  • Act as a point of contact for SAP Basis technology queries
Your Profile
  • Completed studies in information technology, business informatics, or similar field
  • Expertise in supporting SAP systems and databases, with experience in SAP system operation in Azure
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis topics including SAP NetWeaver, various SAP modules, upgrades, conversions, migrations, and SAP Security
  • Proficient in SAP HANA and IBM DB2-LUW databases
  • Familiarity with Windows Server and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
  • Strong service orientation and a commitment to quality
  • Analytical, independent, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to new challenges
  • Team player with a structured and proactive work approach
  • Willingness to take on specialist on-call duties as needed
