The Opportunity

Responsible for working with the assigned distributor(s) to co-develop strategy, business plan and execution motions in line with Nutanix core distribution/partner business development objectives. Collaborate with Nutanix partner and sales teams to develop and manage partner pipeline through distributors to meet quarterly and annual targets. Measure and improve both back-end (logistics, quoting, ordering) and front-end services (demand generation, sales support) for distributor(s). Identify and facilitate go-to-market improvements between Nutanix and the distributor to maximize channel velocity. Work closely with distributors on partner recruitment, onboarding, and enablement. Collaborate with Nutanix channel, operations, and distributor teams to improve efficiencies.

Your Role

  • Influence Distributors to align their business resources to drive Nutanix revenue.
  • Regular meetings and business planning sessions with Distributors, including QBRs, to plan marketing spending and business activities and drive mutual revenue growth.
  • Drive enablement of the distributor(s) and focus Nutanix partners.
  • Drive adoption of Nutanix Channel tools and partner program elements
  • Manage Distribution program rebate performance.
  • Ensure month and quarter-end operational excellence with the distributor(s)
  • Use social media to promote and drive Nutanix and channel partnership goals bi-directionally.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum seven years of experience in IT distribution sales and related support.
  • Experience supporting partners selling data center infrastructure, networking, security, or enterprise applications.
  • Good existing contacts with channel partners and core distribution partners.
  • Able to quickly recruit and on-board relevant new partners.
  • Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-growing environment.
  • First-class presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with employees within the sales function and across functions, including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
  • Experience using Salesforce and other CRM software.
  • Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish; fluency in Portuguese is also preferred.
  • Familiar with LATAM sales and distribution landscape
