We are looking for Full Stack Software Engineers who are enthusiastic about integrating data with cutting-edge technologies. As a Capital One Sr. Manager Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading a significant transformation within the company.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers specializing in distributed microservices and full stack systems to develop solutions that address regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date on tech trends, explore new technologies, engage in technology communities, mentor other engineers, and occasionally contribute code or evaluate code
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that offer compelling experiences to empower millions of users financially
  • Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a range of AWS tools and services

Basic Qualifications:

  • Intermediate-Advanced proficiency in English
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience (Excluding Internships)
  • At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in team management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in technologies like JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, C#/.Net or Go
  • At least 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
  • Minimum 4 years of experience working with open source frameworks
  • At least 7 years of team management experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Agile practices experience
