About The Role
- Finance Business Partner in Manufacturing Operations provides financial and decision support to help to achieve Diageo ́s plans and results, leading by example and in a coherent way.
- Participates in the annual financial planning process for the Operations area setting targets for the following financial year with key partners.
- Support operations key partners to guarantee the right information is provided to drive a decision focused monthly process. Key to this is collaborating closely with Finance Controlling and Statutory teams to ensure accurate COGS and overhead accounting and reports.
- Support the monthly Business Review and Key Performance Indicators within the operations area to raise any issue on time and provide clarity and transparency.
- Follow up any special project and the productivity in a monthly basis as well as participate in any operations task team to achieve results.
- In conjunction with the Finance and Operations Managers drives standardization & simplification across all the processes within operations.
- Drives a continuous improvement process across Finance and Operations.
- Champion a robust control environment ensuring compliance with Control Assurance and Risk Management (CARM) and GAR Processes. Constantly strive to improve forecast, accounting & control processes, and champion the Code of Business Conduct.
A Finance Business Partner should:
- 5 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner or Sr Financial Analyst with a strong Manufacture Cost Management background
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Finance.
- Expert in Excel
- Fluent: English and Spanish
- Develop and manage Ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling.
- Have strong accounting and forecast skill as well as the ability to work with different teams and levels.
- Be hands-on and a professional with the attitude to build and improve processes, manage the continued improvement mind set.
- Have SAP knowledge.
