As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, develop test cases, and execute them.
What will your job look like?
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Utilize Unix commands (ls, nano, ee, pico, grep, find).
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
- Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software components.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Document test results, track defects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment (preferably in the Telco industry - Nice to have).
- Proficiency in Unix commands (ls, nano, ee, pico, grep, find).
- Good knowledge of SQL (execute queries for more than 2 tables).
- Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and test case development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to meet project deadlines.
