Medical Scribe (Remote)

Currently, we are in need of a Medical Scribe to join us at the earliest opportunity.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Record patient medical history, symptoms, previous medical diagnoses, and other relevant health background.
  • Document physician's or healthcare provider's findings, follow-up instructions, and prescribed treatments.
  • Transcribe verbal orders and medical dictation related to patient orders such as laboratory tests and medications.
  • Create and maintain EHR/EMR system records.
  • Facilitate coordination between healthcare providers, patients, and professionals.
  • Ensure accuracy of medical record documentation and compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical fields or pharmaceutical-related industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Documentation, or related field.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. (At least B2 level).
  • Solid grasp of medical terminologies and practices.
  • Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of current technologies like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
  • Ability to work during graveyard shifts.


Technical Requirements:

  • USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature.
  • Working Webcam.
  • Main and backup computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM.
  • Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps wired connection.
  • Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps.

Schedule:
US work hours per week.

Location:This is a fully remote position.
