ABOUT THE ROLE...
The Professional Services and Consulting team at Iron Mountain is crucial in guiding clients through cutting-edge solutions related to cloud-native digital content management, machine learning, and workflows. As a PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT, your role will involve leading architectural and engineering initiatives globally, maintaining high standards of quality and practices. Taking charge of the entire technical portfolio, you will engage in strategic dialogues with clients and mentor implementation engineers. This position requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and exceptional leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, prioritize customer success, and define advanced technology solutions across various industries. Operating at the intersection of global strategy and regional execution, you will foster collaboration and excellence within the team.
Responsibilities include...
- Leading and mentoring a team of engineers and architects in developing solutions for clients.
- Collaborating with customers to grasp their architectural needs.
- Ensuring teamwork and adherence to best practices.
- Implementing architectural decisions and offering technical leadership.
- Identifying and addressing risks associated with architecture.
- Troubleshooting major implementation issues.
- Utilizing design thinking for solution design and architecture.
- Establishing best practices in engineering.
- Providing feedback on customer needs to product management.
- Keeping abreast of cloud technologies and maintaining expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS...
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS/IT, or equivalent field.
- Over 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, preferably in client-facing roles.
- Strong background in enterprise solutions and cloud platforms.
- Experience with digital content management and relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in English and familiarity with various technologies/languages.
- Industry experience in diverse sectors.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, machine learning, and AI.
- Ability to create technical drawings for projects.
