Purpose of Role



The Store Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing the store's profitability and achieving key performance indicators. They provide top-notch customer service aligned with UA service standards, ensuring operational excellence. This role involves coaching and mentoring teammates while also stepping in as the leader in the absence of the Assistant Store Manager.



Your Impact



Sales & Omni

  • Supports sales and retail/omni-channel KPI target attainment
  • Offers customers detailed information on a wide range of products
Brand Image & Customer Experience
  • Trains teammates to deliver a unique service/selling culture specific to Under Armour
  • Utilizes expertise to drive sales and enhance customer loyalty
Retail Operations
  • Trains and guides teammates in daily operations following UA processes and policies
  • Collaborates with store leadership to uphold standards on merchandise and floor sets
  • Ensures adherence to Loss Prevention policies and reports any unusual activity
  • Takes on Stock Lead responsibilities when needed
  • Promptly communicates teammates' accidents/injuries to store leadership
Leadership & Team Collaboration
  • Communicates clear priorities, sales, and KPI targets to sales teammates
  • Maintains and supports store safety standards, escalating concerns to store leadership
  • Backs UA strategies to drive sales and operations, identifying opportunities and trends
  • Assists store and regional leadership teams and local HR in onboarding and continuous training
  • Leads/supports a Division of Responsibility for store efficiency, if applicable (Athlete Experience, Merchandising, Brand, Operations)


Qualifications

  • Advanced numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Fluency in local language and basic verbal English
  • Proficiency in computer and technology use
  • Adapts to new working methods and ideas
  • Knowledgeable in store operations, visual merchandising, stock management, risk, and safety
  • Understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Extensive selling experience and industry knowledge


Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in sports/apparel & footwear retail
  • Preferred previous supervisory experience
  • High School education or equivalent
  • Flexible availability, including holidays, nights, and weekends


Physical Requirements

  • Capable of handling/relocating products up to 25 lbs/12kgs
  • Able to stand and move for extended periods with short breaks
  • Accesses all areas of the store freely
