POSITION TITLE: Supply Chain Analyst

DIVISION: Industrial Solutions Division (ISD)

REPORTING TO TITLE: Supply Chain and Sales Administration Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Under supervision, coordinate supply chain functions including, but not limited to, communication with customers/suppliers and processing of orders, forecast, RMA's, billings, invoices and logistics/trade related items. Work with warehouse on daily shipments and inventory control. Maintain customer/supplier accounts and pricing data in SAP. Assist with month end close.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Customer service/Inside sales. Order entry, forecast, logistics planning, billing, RMA's, other defective product related issues. Work with sales managers to coordinate product implementation from trial (PPAP) to mass production. Monitor open backlog and accounts receivable, make collection calls on any past due payments, resolve price discrepancies, short payments/overpayments.
  • Calculate and process forecast for multiple products. Process trade sales orders and purchase orders to domestic/international suppliers based on customer firm orders.

Process supplier invoices, work with vendor for any discrepancies.

  • Process daily shipments/related documents and coordinate logistics for/with domestic/international customers and suppliers. Provide shipping instructions and related documents to suppliers/warehouse.
  • Accurate and timely pricing and parts management in SAP
  • Processing of trade/operating expense invoices
  • Assist with month end closing and account (customer/supplier/accrual) maintenance.
  • File maintenance
  • New customer/supplier applications
  • Trade compliance: Assist manager with new part classification/broker maintenance
  • Inventory control
  • Occasionally assist with general office duties

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience is required

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of experience in customer service and international operations (preferred in Automotive industry but not required)
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • International trade (import/export) experience preferred but not required
  • Less than 10% travel required
