Barista

A Barista engages our guests during their visit, takes/serves orders and ensures brand service standards are met with the highest quality.

What will I be doing?

A Barista will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, receiving/serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
Deliver the drinks menu to customers and answer their questions regarding ingredients.
Take orders paying attention to details (e.g. coffee blend preferences, amount of milk and sugar)
Serve drinks and prepared food that is available at the bar
Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
Keep the bar area clean
Keep plates and cups clean
Check if coffee machines are working properly and report any maintenance needs
Comply with health and safety regulations
RequirementsWhat are we looking for? A Barista serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: Previous experience as a barista or waiter/waitress
Hands-on experience with coffee machines
Basic math skills
Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
