Introduction

In this position, you'll be part of one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers where we provide advanced technical and industry knowledge to a variety of clients. Our centers offer clients local skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies.

You'll collaborate with visionaries in various industries to enhance the journey towards hybrid cloud and AI for some of the most innovative companies globally. Your capacity to drive impact and create meaningful changes for clients is supported by our strategic partner network and robust technology platforms throughout the IBM portfolio, including IBM Software and Red Hat.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you'll be involved in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, coding, testing, and support. Your task will be to create software that supports your clients' hybrid cloud and AI initiatives.

You'll have the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, ensuring that the applications delivered are high-performing, reliable, responsive, and sustainable.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Analytical Problem-Solving and Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and suggest enhancements to existing issues, with guidance from the architect and technical leader
  • Comprehensive Engagement Across Process Phases: Participate in every stage of the process, from design to development, testing, releasing changes, and troubleshooting when necessary, while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Innovative Coding Solutions: Lead important discussions with stakeholders, assess the current scenario for opportunities to innovate and develop creative coding solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Hands-on experience in developing new systems, migrating data, creating new components, interfaces, and workflows within the TIBCO ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team
  • Experience working in an Agile team and familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or other similar knowledge management systems.
