Your Role and Responsibilities

If you're a skilled system administrator, we want you on our team As part of our team, you'll manage the setup and maintenance of multiple servers. You'll collaborate with a diverse, global team and gain insight into the entire service lifecycle for a large project. Attention to detail is key for success.

  • Create Ansible playbooks and maintain detailed documentation on our infrastructure
  • Manage hundreds of physical machines, including purchasing replacements for outdated equipment
  • Resolve internal customer incidents and service requests
  • Collaborate with the global Storage Engineering team
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, or Fedora
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud technologies like OpenShift, OpenStack, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Proficiency in tools such as Ansible, Bash, Python, and Git
  • Experience in enterprise data center operations and monitoring
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team
  • Positive attitude towards challenges with a customer-centric focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
