Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Equipment Maintenance Manager located in Guadalajara, South.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Operations Engineering, Equipment Maintenance Manager role involves Directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Directs daily department activities to optimize equipment utilization and support production needs.
  • Establishes preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Forecasts operating costs and prepares budget requests for the department.
  • Reviews and determines material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.
  • Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations.
  • Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.
  • Administers safety programs to maintain a safe and clean workplace for employees.
  • Generates maintenance logs and other operational metrics for performance evaluation.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with automation systems.
  • Proficiency in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes.
  • Previous management experience demonstrating leadership skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth engineering analysis.
