Our team is in need of an Associate Product Manager who is a dedicated learner and self-starter aiming to become a Product Manager. We are looking for creative problem-solvers with essential skills to analyze customer issues, business requirements, opportunities, and propose solutions to support the Product Management team. The ideal candidate should possess the drive to excel in a fast-paced environment and comprehend that this position is not only about learning but also about taking action. This role requires rapid growth, skill enhancement, and involvement in end-to-end product management under the guidance of experienced Product Managers and Leaders. The primary focus will be on developing B2B software for Tax, Accounting, and Advisory services in the professional accounting sector.

About the Role

In this Associate Product Manager role, you will:

  • Develop a solid product intuition by understanding and evaluating customer problems, business needs, and opportunities, and suggesting potential solutions with moderate guidance.
  • Contribute to building exceptional capabilities and products by participating in and helping to maintain the product roadmap, collaborating closely with the development team and UX to implement the roadmap efficiently. This includes representing the customer's voice for the engineering teams, prioritizing the product backlog based on customer and business value, and utilizing metrics to track progress.
  • Show leadership by taking complete ownership of a feature/product, its performance, and reliability, ensuring our clients have a positive experience. Demonstrate the ability to learn from experiences, overcome obstacles, and effectively promote the product vision to colleagues.

  • Be Curious & Innovative, starting by focusing on understanding our customers' issues and requirements, collaborating with customers, partners, and other team members to address them in unique ways.
  • Have Agility with a strong sense of urgency and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver solutions within tight deadlines; embracing the possibility of setbacks.
  • Be an effective communicator who demonstrates confidence and communicates clearly and succinctly with management, peers, customers, and partners.

About You

You are a suitable candidate for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Tax, Accounting, or Advisory services is a bonus
  • Previous experience in product management internships (preferred)
  • Successful Associate Product Managers (APMs) will exhibit and demonstrate the aspiration to enhance skills in Problem Solving, Leadership, Design Thinking, and Cross-functional Collaboration, as well as effective Communication.
