Yelp is searching for a Stock Administrator to join our dynamic Total Rewards team. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Stock Administrations. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day administrative duties related to administering equity plans and implementing policies and industry best practices.
As the Stock Administrator, you will process transactions with outside vendors and brokers for stock option exercises, including Restricted Stock releases and ESPP transactions. You will maintain Yelp's equity database, updating information and run required reports. As a key member of the Total Rewards team you will regularly with internal stakeholders, including our Payroll, Legal, Tax, and broader People Operations team. You will directly support and engage with Yelp's employees across Europe and North America.

This is a full-time position located in Mexico.
What you'll do:- Answer employee questions and resolve problems regarding equity plans and stock awards.
- Develop and deliver timely documentation and communications related to stock awards.
- Work closely with the company's transfer agent and previous Equity Edge experience required.
- Work with Payroll, Tax, Treasury and Finance to ensure compliance for all equity related requirements.
- Work closely with Global Mobility to monitor all cross-border movement for equity and tax implications and take appropriate actions within the equity administration system.
- Generate and review for accuracy, recurring and ad-hoc reports for Finance, Accounting, Tax, Payroll, People Ops, Internal/External Audit and Legal and may contribute to the creation of custom reports as needed.
- Ability to perform data entry and maintain accurate records of equity awards, exercises and cancellations and handle confidential employee, compensation, and equity information.
- 2-4 years relevant equity experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of the field of stock administration obtained through directly related experience and specialized courses.
- Exposure to US and global equity programs, multiple equity award types, and high transaction volume.
- Experience processing Employee Stock Purchase Plan transactions and discussions with employees.
- Equity Edge administration system and transfer agent (Computershare) experience.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities and advanced Excel skills (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables).
- Google product knowledge (Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc.).
- Execute equity processes with a high-degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Ability to offer cross-function support within the Stock Administration team. Other functions may include Insider Trading, daily operations, grant load reconciliations, special projects, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, etc.
