Finance and Business Management Analyst (Huixquilucan - La Palma, Mexico City)

The role is required to ensure ongoing support to all Health Systems businesses for consolidation, monitoring, and KPI analysis for Mexico (horizontal) and for Latin America (vertical, for Image Guided Therapy). The objective is to meet end to end financial management.

As a Financial Management Analyst within the finance team, you will collaborate closely with other Finance departments as well as you team up with the Health Systems Commercial and Operational teams to deliver actionable insights toward continuous improvement and gap closing measures. You will have finance exposure for Mexico and some exposure to total Latin America performance.

Your role:

  • Support strategic decisions for Health Systems business analysis (business. modeling, opportunity & risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.) and propose soundful corrective actions where needed (e.g., margin improvement, cost improvements, productivity improvement).
  • Drive key root cause analysis on gaps found.
  • Support in monthly review on commercial metrics, drive actionable insights with markets to drive pro-active countermeasures.
  • Supporting preparation and consolidation of financials analysis/inputs into the monthly/quarterly performance review.
  • Drive the month-end closing processes for the Health Business with support from in collaboration with other departments.
  • Responsible for supporting and optimizing recurring planning/forecasting and reporting capabilities.
  • Executing process improvement projects across while engaging with End-to-End stakeholders,
  • Key go-to finance person assisting the Head of Finance when needed.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

You're the right fit if:

  • University degree in relevant field (business, finance, accounting, economics, industrial engineering).
  • Understands and is technically proficient in financial theory/application and knows when/how to use various analysis techniques.
  • Preferably minimum 2+ years of related experience.
  • Strong business orientation – ability to understand and explain business results and translate into insights.
  • Able to put much information in a structured way.
  • Analytical thinker, strong communication, presentation, and social skills
  • Drive for results and hands on approach.
  • Takes ownership and has a drive for constant improvement.
  • Ability to work with Cross functional teams and influence colleagues outside own process domain to achieve timely completion of reporting also ability to work and lead independently.
  • Proactive and hands on attitude, goal oriented and perseverant.
  • Advanced in excel skills – mandatory.
  • Knowledge in SAP (Optional).
  • Good at English communication (Oral & Written).
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
