Job Description:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure problems, ensuring smooth operations of all systems.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Build and automate cluster deployments using Kubernetes/SLURM ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and provide necessary support.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems.
  • Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and reliability of infrastructure.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications,

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

  • Bachelor ́s degree in Computer Science or similar STEM field.
  • 4+ years of experience in similar roles, working with:
    • debugging issues in configuration of CPU and GPU based environments.
    • troubleshooting infrastructure issues in a production environment with K8.
    • hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Ansible.
    • scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
    • CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git.
    • building and automating cluster deployments using K8.
  • Advanced English level.
  • The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred qualifications,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Workload Managers like SLURM or similar tools.
  • Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Knowledge of DevOps best practices and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Grafana.
  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud and container environments.
