Global Indirect Procurement Value Program Analyst

Description:

Collaborate with the Global Indirect Procurement teams to enhance company value. This includes offering financial support for negotiations, conducting supplier financial risk analysis, and participating in the value planning process with the GIP category teams. Focus on driving continuous process improvement, automation, and digitization of key processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies specialized knowledge to address common and complex business issues within defined guidelines and suggests suitable alternatives.
  • Tackles problems of various complexity and scope.
  • Uses independent judgment to identify and choose solutions within established policies and practices.
  • Capable of managing unique situations, may seek advice for decisions on complex business matters. Provides intricate financial analysis for a financial function or business.
  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with business leaders to influence decision-making.
  • Delivers analytics for business initiatives, often representing a sub-function within finance for a specific business.
  • Supports policy and process enhancement, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Recognizes issues and offers solutions.
  • Represents the GIP Value program in cross-functional teams.
  • Offers mentorship and guidance to analysts.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Primary university degree in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
  • Typically 4+ years of financial analyst experience.
  • Usually experienced in more than one finance function.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
