OVERVIEW
Supervision position for engineers and technicians. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the comprehensive functionality of the Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS) used in all manufacturing, assembly and packaging processes of the plant.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Professional career in Engineering (Mechatronics, Computer Sciences, Digital Systems and Communications, Electronics)
  • Experience in software application development
  • Test system experience
  • Experience in Traceability Systems (MES, shopfloor, etc.)
  • 3 or more years of experience in a similar position

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual (80% English and Spanish) both oral and written
  • Use of advanced programming languages: C ++, Python, Java, PLC programming.
  • Use of advanced communication protocols: CAN, TCP / IP, Serial, ModBus, OPC/UA, Profinet
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems.
  • Able to carry out and coordinate development of SW applications (MES, shop-floor, etc.)
  • Use of advanced SAP knowledge.
  • Knowledge and use of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Using advanced reading of electrical, electronic and pneumatic drawings
  • Electrical control.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge in robotics (plus).
  • PowerBi knowledge (plus)


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the skills and competencies of the MIS team.
  • Coordinate the activities of the MIS team
  • Increase the knowledge of the RAM team for the development of advanced SW applications.
  • Promote creativity and innovation throughout the site to improve: safety, quality, productivity and employee experience.
  • Solid 360 relationships and synergy
  • Evaluate the progression (PMP and PDP) of the MIS team
  • Manage and implement equipment and applications of integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Keep equipment working and in good condition.
  • Interact and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet established requirements.
  • Lead and challenge the development and implementation of technological pokayoke
  • Responsible for electrical and functional tests (software and electronic problems)
  • Influence R&D and strategic team
  • Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for your function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
  • Comply with safety rules determined according to your role.
  • Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.
  • Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
