We are currently seeking a Data Scientist Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, business intelligence, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering or a related field
- structural querying languages (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL), data preprocessing languages (e.g. R, Python) and big data processing tools (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
- development & implementation of machine learning models (e.g. random forecast, gradient boosting, transformers), experience with NLP & LLM is advantageous
- Familiarity with designing & conducting statistical analysis (e.g. A/B test, Hypothesis test)
- Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms.
- Basic understanding of SQL for database querying. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
