We are currently seeking for a Contract Manufacturing Project Manager with a passion for Project Management to support the Contract Manufacturing (Virtual Factory) organization. The role will work hand-to-hand with the External Manufacturer Suppliers (EMS). It will be accountable for developing and executing projects to increase capacity with the EMS, transfer manufacturing lines or products to EMS and act as liaison for NPIs between the Industrialization Team and the EMS. The position will also be responsible for project planning, stakeholder management, business case presentation and project execution. The Contract Manufacturing Project Manager will be based in Guadalajara, Mx and will report to the Contract Manufacturing Director.
What will you do:
- Execute project management activities such as project plan update, risk identification and reporting.
- Stakeholder management: set project scope, deadline, budget, stakeholder acceptance and kick off.
- Supervise project budget adherence and deadline completion.
- Sign off projects: lead Hypercare and get stakeholder sign-off based on the agreed scope.
- Take over project management from other project managers if needed.
- Track EMS Capacity against forecast (CAMA) and lead regular discussions to align them.
- Lead projects to increase capacity when new SE equipment is needed at the EMS site.
- Lead projects to adjust capacity down, withdrawing SE equipment at the EMS site.
- Lead Manufacturing Lines or Products Transfers to EMS, inclusive of supply chain readiness.
- Coordinate major maintenance activities of SE equipment at the EMS facilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related field.
- Strong English communication skills, business proficient. Written and oral.
- 5 years proven experience working in Project Management.
- Previous experience working in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, Project Management tools including MS Project.
- Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results via Influence and great communication skills.
- Availability to travel ~ 30% of time.
- PMP Training.
- Self-driven / motivated individual with strong communication, collaboration, and influence skill set.
- Ability to manage and resolve difficult and challenging situations.
