Country Services Financial Analyst

This role is a 'Hybrid' position, where you are expected to work an average of 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Country Services Financial Analyst

Collaborates with business units to ensure that capital strategies are operationally sound and strategically oriented to maximize returns for the global enterprise. Engages in financial data collection, analysis, and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence business decisions and facilitate cross-business endeavors (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Leads the forecasting process by evaluating business trends and ensuring alignment with corporate and business unit objectives. Upholds Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial objectives and policies, safeguarding accurate representation of financial outcomes internally and externally. Maintains robust business controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts intricate financial analysis for a financial function or business segment.
  • Cultivates and sustains relationships with business leaders to offer guidance and impact decision-making.
  • Provides financial insights for business projects, typically representing a subset of the finance function for a specific business area.
  • Supports enhancement of policies and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Recognizes challenges and suggests viable solutions.
  • Represents finance in cross-functional collaborations.
  • Offers mentorship and direction to fellow analysts.

About You:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree focusing on business or economics; advanced degree or certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, MBA) is advantageous.
  • Typically possess over 4 years of financial analyst experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise across multiple finance functions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in business applications such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication and influencing abilities.
  • Strong teamwork aptitude.
  • Solid business acumen.
