This role will be instrumental in driving this transformation, playing a pivotal role in creating engaging content that communicates our vision, differentiates Opus Connect, and fuels product adoption.

Job Description

Opus Connect is seeking an experienced Content/Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This remote role offers unparalleled access to the industry's top and most influential executives and provides the opportunity to gain a tremendous wealth of knowledge and insight into the private equity space. You will play a pivotal role in creating and executing a content strategy that communicates our vision, differentiates Opus Connect, and fuels product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive inbound marketing strategy that effectively creates, distributes, and optimizes content based on the needs and desires of our clients and target market.
  • Conduct high-level interviews with managing directors and other senior professionals within the private equity sector to build rapport and produce engaging, insightful content.
  • Produce a wide range of industry-specific written content, including articles on market trends, case studies and insights from industry experts to position Opus Connect as a thought leader in the M&A sector.
  • Curate and distribute a newsletter featuring M&A industry news, press releases covering deals closed, fundraising activities, hires, and other pertinent insights.
  • Create compelling visual content such as video interviews, graphics, and images for social media and website promotion, event promotion, and event highlights, aimed at engaging our audience and showcasing Opus Connect's value proposition.
  • Manage and execute the content calendar to promote the writing and visual content produced into diverse media channels, aimed at attracting and engaging a qualified audience.
  • Oversee Opus Connect's social media and website presence and inbound leads, promoting our top products, events, and services, and fostering engagement before, during, and after both in-person and virtual events.
  • Utilize marketing automation and social media tools for lead nurturing and engagement.
  • Leverage SEO strategies to increase web traffic and monitor marketing KPIs to enhance strategy continually.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to generate innovative content ideas that align with Opus Connect's strategic goals.

Required Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in content strategy and development, particularly within the finance or M&A sectors.
  • Strong understanding of inbound marketing, digital marketing tools, and techniques for lead generation and nurturing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and interact with senior-level professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with a knack for building relationships and crafting tailored content.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
  • Background or interest in the M&A or private equity sectors.
