The Catalyst Team is seeking an Adobe Architect to join our full-time team as full-time employee.

Main Responsibilities


• Translate business requirements using appropriate methods to determine solutions

• Evaluate client's existing infrastructure capacity and performance, plan for future requirements and prepare proposals

• Evaluate client's technology/ tools and identify prospective solutions

• Work within a highly technically focused team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of solutions

• Optimize integrations between Adobe Marketing Cloud Products

• Assess the impact analysis has on infrastructure due to project requirements (Should be able to advise on implementation strategy, performance, tools, operations, release and deployment to the customer)

• Advise on implementation strategy, performance, tools, operations, deployment

• Work closely with clients, developers, system administrators and BA's to build solutions using AEM and other Adobe Marketing Cloud products.

• Develop AEM components and services in Java following best practices

• Provide solutions on integrating third-party systems

• Demonstrate custom functionality and product features for clients

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to relevant teams

• Set best practices and coding frameworks for development teams

• Effectively communicate design concepts to customers and articulate design options

Skills


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant program preferred

• Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud Product suite covering AEM, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, AEM Forms, Audience manager and Adobe Campaigns

• 4-5 or more years of experience in the design and deployment of Java/ J2EE solutions on JCR based WCM products

• 4 or more year's core experience in developing on CMS platforms or web-application frameworks

• Experience with CMS features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/ targeting, content aggregation/ syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media etc.

• Previous experience as a lead developer or architect on Adobe Experience Manager implementations

• AEM Architect or Developer certification preferred

• Must understand best practices for data management & package deployment in AEM

• Must be experienced developing HTML, CSS and leveraging the leading JavaScript libraries to create fully responsive applications using the latest front-end solutions

• Knowledge of authentication using LDAP, SSO, SAML, OKTA, etc.

• Practiced in designing and developing web applications including site structure, custom components, custom workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR), object model designs (Java APIs) and unit testing

• Experience effectively communicating technical knowledge, guidance and best practices to client and technical team members on topics related to AEM and relevant systems

• Experience translating business requirements into AEM specifications

• Comfortable interacting regularly with both technical subject matter experts as well as business owners at all organizational levels

• Good understanding of CI/CD and experience building CI pipelines and related tools

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

• Solid understanding of software design patterns

• Experience with design patterns is a must

• Consulting background preferred
