About NubankNubank was founded into free people from a bureaucratic, slow, and inefficient financial system.Since then, through innovative technology and outstanding customer service, the company has been redefining people's relationships with money across Latin America.With operations in Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, Nubank is today one of the largest digital banking platforms and technology-leading companies in the world.About the teamPeople and Culture's (P&C) vision is to mirror the business by providing a low cost to serve while delivering the best quality experience to Nubankers, acting as an enabler to Nubank's business strategy.We contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to promote a powerful and disruptive culture as Nubank scales in size and continues its steep growth trajectory.The HRBP will have the responsibility to build and drive the P&C agenda for Mexico, supporting Nubankers and their leaders to thrive.Our HRBP team is energized by change and thrives on pivoting quickly.We partner with leaders to blend people-related strategy, support change management, and develop projects that align with Nubank's growth plans.What you will doThe HRBP will support multiple Directors in Mexico.The main duties of this position include but are not limited to:Advise and coach area leaders on how to achieve the company's objectives by implementing solutionsCoach leaders on people processes, such as performance management cycles, leadership development, compensation, culture & engagement, talent acquisition, and conflict managementBuild and roll out people strategy for each Business UnitPartner with the Talent Acquisition team to proactively identify future hiring needs and recruitment strategies to bring the best talents on time to meet business needsSupport the broader Customer Experience team in driving our people agenda forwardBuild trusting relationships and influence key stakeholdersAnalyze P&C trends and metrics and implement action plans aiming at improved employee morale, productivity, and organizational healthWork closely with employee relations and address any misconductWork closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvide HR policy guidanceMonitor and report on workforce and succession planningIdentify training needs for teams and individualsEvaluate training programsSuggest new HR strategiesWhat we are looking forMinimum of 7 years of experience in HRBP or P&C-related rolesPrevious experience in financial organisations or tech companies (fintechs and tech-hyper-growth would be a plus)Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demandsSolid stakeholder management and influencing skills across the organisation, including the business and People and Culture areasAnalytical and problem-solving skills: ability to peek inside data sets and take creative approaches to problems using that insightAbility to effectively drive results in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation and conflict-management skills and experienceAbility to effectively communicate and influence executives using dataAbility to deep dive into data analysis and support fact-based decision-makingBusiness acumen: understanding the business functions, OKRs, priorities, and the business risks and opportunitiesFluency in English and Spanish is mandatoryPortuguese would be a plusOur BenefitsVacations equal to 17 daysYear end bonus ("aguinaldo") equal to 1 monthEquity at NuVales de despensaHealth insuranceDental and vision insuranceNuCare – Our mental health and wellness assistance programmeNuLanguage – Our language learning programmeOur Nu Way of WorkingOur work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise.For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.#J-*****-Ljbffr
