Role Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels. What you'll do Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs. Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date. Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times. Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times. Education Required Bachelor's degree to the Supply Chain field or related field Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced) Key Skills Accountability Complete assigned tasks and seek help when necessary. Maintain a positive attitude to achieve objectives. Possess practical background and expertise in similar roles involving planning, negotiation, and customer service, preferably within the transportation sector. Planning and Organizing Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools to ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis. Skilled in managing time and coordinating multiple responsibilities, maintaining organized workflows that support efficient operations and consistent follow‑through. Adjust priorities when conditions change or new information arises. Effective Communications Communicates clearly and in a timely manner the need for a decision to the appropriate people Decision Making and Critical Thinking Knowledge of data analysis. Ability to distinguish between the decisions they can make autonomously and those that require higher‑level approval Flexibility and Adaptability Ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change Service Excellence Strong background in customer service and negotiation to ensure effective and satisfactory relationships.
