Job DescriptionMinimum RequirementsEducation: High School DiplomaExperienceAbility to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekendsAbility to work independently with limited supervisionCapable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughputStrong organizational and administrative skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong problem-solving and conflict management skillsSuccessful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skillsResponsibilitiesPosition DutiesCoach and support manufacturing work groups (MWG)Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systemsSupport Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalitiesValidate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality partsStrategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectivesCommunication and RecognitionBuild Team Leader and Team Member capabilityCreate a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasksBasic Administration of supervisory responsibilities and documentsCoordinate maintenance activities prioritising resources to ensure safety and qualityStand in for the PTM whenever necessary, elevate issues from Team Leaders and Process Coaches to PTMPlans and executes the daily production to maximize output while keeping safety and quality standards.Takes decisions on lot size and mix.Ensure adherence and compliance to the FPS Key Unifying Processes (KUP)QualificationsPreferred RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's DegreeBody Shop/stamping/paint/subassembly Experience PreferredSafety and Quality experience preferredKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesKnowledge of constraint management principlesMicrosoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)Prior experience managing a unionized work force#J-*****-Ljbffr
