Senior Service Technician, 4 Stroke- Wärtsilä Energy leads the transition towards a 100% renewable energy future.We help our partners to accelerate their decarbonisation journeys through our market-leading technologies and power system modelling expertise.These cover decarbonisation services, future-fuel enabled balancing power plants, hybrid solutions, energy storage and optimisation technology, including the GEMS Digital Energy Platform.- Did you know Wärtsilä has delivered 79 GW of power plant capacity and more 125 energy storage installations in 180 countries around the world?- In this fast changing world of energy, we are constantly on the lookout for future-oriented talent to join our team and to work towards enabling sustainable societies through innovation in technology and services - together.Want to join the ride?- We are looking for a **SENIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN, 4 STROKE** to join our dynamic and fast paced **Field Services Team**.**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**As SENIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN, 4 STROKE you will perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values and company policies; Also interact with FS site team leaders, FS back office and customer representative during the work execution in a professional way.**PREFERRED LOCATION**: MexicoAs a **SENIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN, 4 STROKE**, you will focus on these responsibilities:- Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan and Safety - First mindset.- Support during minor and major overhauls and repairs on assemblies on site and/or in workshops.- Interact with FS site team leaders, FS back office and customer representative during the work execution in a professional way.- Perform internal progress status reports of the assigned work to support site team leader on the communications.- Follow product guidelines for the works and use records to support it.- Ensure that the work is executed according to Wartsila quality, health and environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.- To comply with the management system accordingly to what has been implemented locally for her/his position.- Proactively consulting, advising, and promoting available Wartsila solutions and products to customer.- Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values, and company policies.- 3+ years of Mechanical maintenance expertise with 4-stroke engines, preferable Wartsila- Knowledge of Wärtsilä products- Safety first mindset- Learning focus**To be successful in this role, we expect you to have**:- Technical or bachelor's degree in Mechanics or related areas..- Skills with MS Office package (Word, Excel, etc.)- Communication & customer relations skills.- Proactiveness.- Be willing & available to travel.- At Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.
