To learn more please visit http://www.convatecgroup.com General Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering‑based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. Focus on sterilization activities carried out at Reynosa working closely with Sterilization specialist and SMEs. Requirements Engineer degree in the Mechanical, Electronic or Industrial areas. Experience in Medical Devices Industry (preferred) 1 to 3 years of experience in the Engineering (preferred) Experience in problem solving techniques. Proven ability to organize teams and projects. Proven ability to effectively train others. Excellent verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS office, Electronic Document Management System, etc. required. High responsibility to finalize tasks.
