Please note that this is a temporary position with an estimated project duration of 6 months.We are seeking a Payroll Specialist with extensive experience managing payroll for large numbers of employees.The position is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of payroll cycles, legal compliance, audits, reporting, etc.Skills:- Manage the full payroll cycle (calculation, stamping, payment, and reconciliation).- Ensure compliance with tax obligations, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and labor regulations.- Handle incidents, updates, and system changes (Tress, Tempus, Workday, Oracle).- Coordinate internal and external payroll audits.- Implement process improvements and controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy.- Report key performance indicators.- Incorporate incidents provided by Human Resources and validate the calculation of earnings, deductions, and contributions.- Close monthly statements.- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to critical deadlines.- Intermediate–advanced Excel skills (report handling, validations, and reconciliations).Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience processing payroll in Mexico, including unionized environments.- Strong understanding of labor and tax regulations, with the ability to interpret complex legal requirements.- Experience in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and payroll integration.- Strong organizational and communication skills.- Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written).- High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data processing tools.- for innovation and continuous improvement, with experience or interest in automation tools and digital transformation.- Familiarity with Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or other payroll-related ERP systems (Tress, Tempus).
