Company Description"We're not in the shipping business; we're in the information business" -Peter Rose, Expeditors FounderGlobal supply chain management is what we do, but at the heart of Expeditors you will find professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, all of which foster an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics.- 15,000 trained professionals- 250+ locations worldwide- Fortune 500- Globally unified systems**Application Supplements**For optimal consideration, a cover letter may be included as the first page of your resume.The cover letter should be no longer than one page.Please address why you are a good fit for this specific job posting, and your desired compensation range.**Job Description**:The Global Network Management Center (GNMC) is a diverse set of teams that support the global network through data analytics, process management, tool curation, and program management to service customers through actionable intelligence, information, and data.The GNMC works in conjunction with GEO (Operations), Account Management, Product Leaders, and Sponsors to deliver on our commitment to our customers.In the traditional project management approach of "Plan - Execute - Monitor and Control", the GNMC focuses on 'monitor and control' using data, dashboards, and exception management techniques to establish, maintain, and achieve company and customer specific KPIs.Communication, data competency, and exception management form the bedrock of customer service for logistics coordinators in the GNMC.**Communication** that is timely, clear, and professional is core to the service offerings supported by the GNMC.**Data competency**, and the ability to evaluate data for its quality and completeness, is crucial to ensuring that you and your team are well-equipped to perform essential duties for the customer or for our network.Finally, **exception management** occurs when a coordinator takes data competency and communication together and uses them to resolve in-transit exceptions before the customer is affected.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**- ** Customer Communication**: professional and timely response to customer and network inquires.- ** Data Competency**: ensuring complete, accurate, and timely data for all shipments.Including managing EDI transmissions and the integrity of internal and external reporting.- ** Exception Management**: using reporting, dashboards, and other tools to manage in-transit exceptions and provide network visibility to performance and process exceptions.**Qualifications**:**Desired Qualifications**- Fluent in English- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics or related field- One year of work experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related field- Qualifications in supply chain management or logistics- IATA/FIATA- Brokers License- University/Specialist CertificationsAdditional InformationExpeditors offers excellent benefits:- Vacation - above the legal requirement- Medical insurance- Life insurance- Basic needs vouchers- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- Paid overtime- Training and Personnel Development Program- Aguinaldo - above the legal requirement
