This role is a key part of the Operations & Maintenance Department.The Performance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maximum performance of our solar energy generation facilities. Will oversee the daily activities of plant technicians, monitor plant performance data, analyze forecast and minimize deviations, and implement strategies to optimize energy output and minimize downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor the operations to ensure real-time oversight of plant operations, including capacity of PV plants and system performanceMonitor plant performance indicators and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.Provide regular reports to headquarters regarding plant performance, operational metrics, and any deviations from established benchmarks.Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize energy production.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsCollaborate with engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to plant performance.Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy production, improve efficiency, and reduce operating costs, including energy forecast for grid operator.Prepare reports and documentation on plant performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.Train and mentor plant technicians on best practices for operation, maintenance, and performance optimization.Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in solar energy generation.Responsible for independently or organizing on-site staff to complete various reports required by government regulators and lenders.RequirementsProven experience in solar energy generation or related industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, inverters, and power electronics.Familiarity with SCADA systems and monitoring software for plant performance analysisProven experience with Scada, PV Syst and Python.Benefits30 day Christmas BonusFood SubsidyBirthday leaveMajor Medical Insurance, Dental and VisionLife Insurance
