**Controls Engineer - PLC Programmer**:**Take your next career step at ABB with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.At ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations.Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:Working as a Controls Engineer, you will be the support person for various engineering projects in consumer industries in Mexico, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.**Your responsibilities**:- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline- Helping customers resolve technical issues in PLC program both remotely and at customer sites in Mexico.- Developing your management and communication skills by working with entry-level employee.- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.**Your background**:- A bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechatronics, Robotics, Communications and Electronics Engineering or a similar field.- 3-5 years of experience as controls Engineer programming PLC's (Siemens or Allen Bradley) and Drives.- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including Vizion, Cognex or Infaimon.- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.- Intermediate English.- Current US visa and passport is desirable.**More about us**:
