Job ID: *****- Location: Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, MX, *******RD Software Development Eng****Job ID**:*******Location**:MX-JA-Santa Anita-Vitesco II**Salary Classification**:10In this product range, we lay the basis for successful products by developing materials, technologies, and building blocks such as electronic functions, power modules, or complex SW drivers.We integrate these into products for our customers and by that, we can go up to a full turn-key system.**Duties include**- Ability to understand and implement control strategy algorithms.- Perform Bench level design validation tests.- Support the Program Management at quoting new businesses through the suggestion of technical solutions and effort estimation.- Interface with System Algorithm engineers in the US, Europe, and Asia reviewing system requirements to ensure the overall technical integrity of the SW product.- Real-time embedded software development for next-generation control modules.- Testing and debugging tasks.- Integration of Application SW with low-level Hardware Abstraction Layer.- Perform code reviews, analyze system and software requirements, and test protocol.- Monitor and evolve the "state-of-the-art" in embedded Systems and Software Development.- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.**Required Skills**:- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering.- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position- Mandatory Experience in C programming.- Mandatory Experience handling microcontrollers (NOT Arduino)- None to 2 years of experience using calibration tools, and data-logging tools.- Ability to analyze data- Understanding of component-driven System and SW development architecture.- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.- Be able to learn the details of specific features from documentation, and review with design engineers.- Self-motivated, dedicated, focused, and be able to meet tight schedules.**Preferred Skills**- Masters Degree in Electrical or Software Engineering- Knowledge of related key issues in CPU Utilization, Memory Management, C code in embedded systems.- Experience with configuration management tools.**Working Time**: Full time**Business Unit**: VT Engineering**Department**: VT E CT ASW NA**Your Contact Partner**: TANIA ARACELI PALOSVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.With smart system solutions and components for electric, hybrid and internal combustion drivetrains, Vitesco Technologies makes mobility clean, efficient, and affordable.The product range includes electrified drivetrain systems, electronic control units, sensors and actuators, and exhaust -gas aftertreatment solutions.In ****, Vitesco Technologies recorded sales of €8.3 billion and employs around 37,000 employees at about 50 locations worldwide.Vitesco Technologies is headquartered in Regensburg, Germany.
