Objectives/Purpose The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for day‑to‑day processing of assigned payroll operations, including changes, onboarding/offboarding, banking requirements for salary and tax payments, and month‑end reconciliations. The role manages outsourced vendor services, ensures SLAs, resolves stakeholder queries, and supports project work as needed. Scope Partner with embedded HR, PAG, COEi, Finance, and other People Solutions functions to ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefit operations. Accountabilities Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for employees in Mexico. Ensure compliance with Mexican labor and tax regulations. Validate payroll accuracy and electronic invoicing (CFDI). Maintain and optimize ADP GlobalView, ensuring data integrity. Support integration between Workday and GlobalView. Perform payroll simulations, reporting, and troubleshooting. Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams. Act as liaison with external vendors (ADP). Coordinate monthly and year‑end payroll activities, filings, and reconciliations. Generate reports for audits. Maintain records and documentation. Participate in interface testing during upgrades. Identify and implement process improvements. Drive automation initiatives. Provide training and guidance to payroll teams. Develop documentation and procedures. Ensure focus on efficiency and process improvements. Act in the best interests of employees. Technical/Functional Expertise Minimum 7 years of payroll management experience in Mexico. Advanced knowledge of Mexican labor and tax regulations. Proficiency in ADP GV, SAP HCM, Workday, and MS Excel. Understanding of GL posting and finance integration. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. Experience with AI tools and Microsoft Power Platform. Interaction & Complexity Effective employee query resolution. Collaboration with Payroll COE and HR Business Partners. Work within international/global remit across cultures. Vendor relationship management to meet service standards. Education, Behavioural Competencies & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field. CPP or equivalent preferred. Proven experience with ADP Global View or SAP. Understanding of Equity and Mobility programs. Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of payroll across Latin American countries. Analytical skills, attention to detail, problem‑solving. Good oral presentation skills. Good written communication skills. Interpersonal skills with SMEs, business owners, and RPA teams. A self‑starter delivering high‑quality work. Ownership of issues to closure. Escalation when out of scope.
