In this role, you will assist with filtering, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets to support decision-making processes. You will be working from our Mexico City offices with a team based in the USA , ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across borders. This position is ideal for candidates with 3 years of experience.Key Responsibilities:Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Clean, filter, and organize data for easy interpretation and reporting.Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.Assist in the creation of reports and presentations based on data analysis.Collaborate with senior analysts and other departments to support data-driven decision-making.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Data Science , Statistics , Computer Science , or a related field ( graduation Proficiency in Power Query : This is essential for data cleaning, transformation, and connecting to diverse sources, particularly Excel, SharePoint, and basic APIs. We need individuals who can effectively shape messy data into usable formats.Strong Data Modeling Fundamentals : Able to build maintainable and performant Power BI models and understand concepts like star schema relationships.Intermediate DAX Skills : The ability to write calculated columns and measures using CALCULATE, filter context manipulation, and time intelligence functions is highly desirable.Advanced Excel for Data Preparation : Expertise in Excel formulas and structuring data that supports reliable Power BI integration is key, as is contributing to process improvements for data workflows.Power BI Ecosystem Familiarity : Experienced with publishing to Power BI Service, managing data refresh concepts, and working with workspaces.Data Source Connectivity : Experience in connecting to and retrieving data from sources such as SharePoint lists/files, with a foundational understanding of how to connect to web APIs.Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking : Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting data issues, developing cleaning logic, and understanding data relationships.(Highly Desirable) SQL Knowledge : Understand of SQL principles are a great fit, as this will complement Power Query and DAX skills.(Optional but Highly Valued) Python with Pandas : Familiarity with Python, particularly Pandas, for more advanced data manipulation and automation, would be a strong asset.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits, including major medical insurance , dental insurance , and life insurance .30 days of Christmas bonus .Additional vacation days.Opportunities for career growth and learning.
