OverviewDevSecOps & Cloud Datawarehousing platform manager:Your roleAs a DevSecOps & Cloud platform professional, your main responsibilities involve delivering secure, scalable end-to-end solutions for customers, deploying DevSecOps artifacts, designing and implementing secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure, providing L2/L3 platform support for Cloud Data Warehousing, troubleshooting issues related to application performance, networking or security, and managing the deployment of applications on Kubernetes clusters. You will maintain network security across multiple environments, implement automated monitoring solutions for cloud resources, ensure compliance with industry and Zurich regulations, execute data strategy and assist in the design and architecture of platform solutions, document and publish best practices, guidelines, and training information, and contribute to scaling strategies for large data assets. You will also support continuous improvement of the support and delivery functions by staying current with technology developments and making recommendations to enhance application services.ResponsibilitiesProvide reliable and scalable end-to-end solutions to customersDeploying DevSecOps ArtifactsDesigning and implementing secure cloud architectures on AWS and AzureL2 and L3 platform support in the area of Cloud DatawarehousingTroubleshooting issues related to application performance, networking or securityManaging the deployment of applications on Kubernetes clustersMaintaining network security across multiple environmentsImplementing automated monitoring solutions for cloud resourcesEnsuring compliance with industry and Zurich regulationsExecution of data strategy and help in the design and architecture of solutions on the platformDocument and publish best practices, guidelines, and training informationParticipate in research, design and development of scaling strategies for large and growing data assetsContribute to continuous improvement of the support and delivery functionsQualificationsBachelor’s degree (Computer Science), master’s degree or Technical Diploma or equivalentAt least 10 years of experience as DBA+3 years of experience on cloud datawarehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse or similar)+3 years of experience on AWS and/or AzureStrong knowledge of AWS and Azure architecture design best practicesExperience working with DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Azure DevOpsKnowledge of Airflow, Databricks, Kubernetes is an added advantageSolid understanding of Networking/Security and LinuxEnglish language on business fluent level is requiredCurious to continuously learn and explore new approaches/technologiesCompetencies & SkillsVery high desire to constantly learn and improveAble to work under pressure in a multi-vendor and multi-cultural teamFlexible, agile and adaptive to changeCustomer-focused approachGood communication skillsAnalytical mindsetInnovationDeep commitmentWho we areLooking for a challenging and inspiring work environment where you can make a difference?
