Empowering Africa's tomorrow, together...one story at a time.With over 100 years of rich history and strongly positioned as a local bank with regional and international expertise, a career with our family offers the opportunity to be part of this exciting growth journey, to reset our future and shape our destiny as a proudly African group.My Career Development Portal: Wherever you are in your career, we are here for you.Design your future.Discover leading-edge guidance, tools and support to unlock your potential.You are Absa.You are possibility.Job SummaryResponsible for overall account opening duties and KYC refresh as well as people management.The Account Opening Supervisor will run day-to-day operations of account product opening, maintenance and refresh, will also be responsible by the quality of data being entered during the creation and refresh by being guide by policies and procedures stated by the Bank.Will also be responsible to report statistics to medium and senior management on day to day statistics and ensuring that all set targets are met as agreed.Will have to ensure that all risks associated to the function are dully mitigated and timely reported for take action.Job DescriptionKey activitiesDaily Supervision and coordination of Centralized Account Opening Back Office activities; Accountable forthe day-to-day operations of products maintenance; Daily Check andChallenge of Quality Assurance findings with team members individual and collectively; Daily verification of Achievements/Target ratio; Continuous development of initiatives to keep the team high performing; Coordinating adjustments between back and front office in order to keep both mindset and knowledge alignment on Account opening and maintenance activities.Continuous refresh on the best practices and Governance & Compliance imperatives during KYC processes; Maintain the team operating in a controlled environment of Risk and meeting Policies and Procedures in place; Sampling verification of data improvements on a weekly basis against achieved refresh volumes; Ensure 100% of Data quality and meeting targets according to the plan; Drive results through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed SOPs; Team managementon efficient way to deliver the results as expected.ReportingProvide reporting information to entire team and management (Daily, weekly, Monthly and annual).Submit on time all relevant reports requested by management and the main stakeholders.Deliver accurate data.EducationFurther Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)#J-*****-Ljbffr
