Who You Are You are an experienced Mobile Engineer with a strong focus on React Native and excellent communication skills in English. You thrive in autonomous environments and are comfortable working directly with stakeholders from Product, Marketing, and Design to transform business requirements into high-quality mobile solutions. You're excited by the opportunity to build and scale cutting‑edge mobile applications, and you possess the technical versatility to navigate both JavaScript / TypeScript environments and foundational native mobile codebases (iOS / Android). Requirements Core Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with 3+ years dedicated to professional React Native development. 3+ years of experience with Java Spring Framework. Clear and effective communication in English. Proven ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working directly with non‑technical stakeholders (Product, Design) to gather requirements and deliver exceptional mobile user experiences. Demonstrated experience in shipping and maintaining consumer‑facing mobile applications on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Technical Requirements Mobile (Primary Focus - 70%): Expert proficiency in React Native, JavaScript / TypeScript, and React's component‑based architecture. Strong experience with mobile state management (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API) and data fetching (e.g., React Query). Experience with React Native tooling and development workflows (e.g., third‑party libraries, linking native modules, turbo modules). Familiarity with native mobile development concepts (Android – Kotlin / Java or iOS – Swift / Objective‑C) for debugging, performance profiling, and bridging. Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization, application size reduction, and crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Datadog, Bugnsag, Sentry). Backend / Auxiliary (30%): Basic understanding of API design and integration patterns to efficiently consume backend services. Experience integrating mobile applications with AWS, Microservices, and Distributed Systems. Familiarity with tracking, analytics, and experimentation frameworks on mobile (e.g., Segment, Amplitude). Nice‑to‑Have: Experience leading or participating in a mobile application migration from native to React Native. Brownfield integrations and interactions between RN and Native. Knowledge of mobile‑specific internationalization tools. Experience with growth / marketing tools such as CleverTap, Adjust, or Amplitude on mobile platforms. Previous experience in fintech, crypto / blockchain, or other high‑growth technology companies. Track record of technical leadership or mentoring other engineers, specifically in the mobile domain. What You Will Do Architect and Implement: Design, build, and deploy new features and infrastructure for our flagship React Native mobile application, ensuring high performance, stability, and scalability. Drive Mobile Strategy: Contribute to the overall mobile application strategy, including evaluating new technologies, streamlining CI / CD processes, and enhancing developer experience. Optimize Mobile Experience: Implement deep linking, notification strategies, and performance improvements to drive conversions and enhance the user journey within the app. Collaborate Cross‑functionally: Work directly with Product Managers, UX / UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to translate business requirements into technical mobile specifications. Ensure Quality: Own the mobile development lifecycle, from feature conception to deployment, including unit and end‑to‑end testing, code review, and production monitoring. Mentor and Lead: Champion mobile engineering best practices and potentially mentor junior and mid‑level engineers in React Native development. Key Objectives You’ll drive successful launch and scale of key user acquisition and activation features within the mobile application. Improve key mobile performance metrics (e.g., load times, crash‑free sessions) and maintain high‑quality code standards. Increase conversion rates within the mobile acquisition and activation funnels. Help diversify our proprietary acquisition channels by leveraging mobile‑specific features and experiences.
