financial operations, ensuring the smooth flow of revenue that powers our mission to transform tax compliance worldwide.Working with customers across multiple countries and time zones, you'll combine analytical expertise with relationship-building skills to optimize our accounts receivable processes.More Specifically, You WillContact customers proactively to ensure timely payment of accounts, conducting professional collection calls across different markets and time zonesBuild and maintain positive customer relationships while upholding Sovos standards, focusing on collaborative problem-solving and win-win solutionsInvestigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies for customer accounts using advanced analytical tools and cross-functional collaborationRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries in both English and Spanish, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivityWork independently on complex accounts while contributing actively to team initiatives and process improvementsTrack and process refunds for customers with credit balances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regional regulationsResearch and resolve disputes on customer accounts, partnering with Sales, Legal, and Operations teams as neededPrepare comprehensive reports including budgeting and forecasting for collections, providing actionable insights to leadershipSupport additional accounting tasks and special projects that drive departmental excellence and innovationWhat We Need From YouProven experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections, preferably in a technology or SaaS environmentAdvanced Excel skills with ability to work with large datasets, create complex formulas, and develop insightful reportsStrong organizational abilities and self-motivation to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environmentExcellent problem-solving skills with knowledge of accounting principles and financial best practicesOutstanding documentation, research, and analytical capabilities with attention to detailAbility to multi-task effectively while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlinesBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) strongly preferredExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and comfort learning new technologiesCultural awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse, international
